Did you know... that the London-based architect Rosemary Stjernstedt was the first woman to reach senior grade I status in a British council county division?
I’m personally related to the late Rosemary Stjernstedt (she was my 1st cousin 2x removed), and can assure you that her birth name and the names listed as her parents are incorrect. Her birth name was Rosemary Owen Smith (Owen being her middle name, a deference to her mother’s maiden name). Her parents were banker Rupert Harry Smith and Dorothy Owen.
