notes[edit]

I have done some serious alterations to the main article and the episode synopses in an attempt to fix the style of the article, which was very biased regarding the shows content (almost an advertisement). Besides trying to make the article more factual, I've tried to fix biased qualitative/quantitative statements and removed many of the historical sum-ups that would be better left to the particular topic's wikipedia article.

There are still some issues, but I request that folks re-evaluate the 'inappropriate tone or style' marker and redirect concerns towards citations and the like. Any thoughts/criticisms?

It has won another Bafta, in the May 20th awards. As to a third season, I don't know but I would expect so given its sucess

Does anyone know whether a DVD is planned?

A DVD is planned for release on March 30th 2008, no further details as to what episodes it will feature are yet given, see Amazon.co.uk & Play.com. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.110.127.255 (talk) 18:27, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Award winning?

Could someone please note which awards it has won, either as a footnote or in the stub itself. cheers SeaFlat 12:56, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know if there is a third season out? 84.13.119.130 17:44, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The 3rd Season is out; however in the entry there is no 'Wellington' episode... S3E3 is on Medijin, Colombia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.221.192.125 (talk) 14:59, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ross Kemp on Gangs.JPG[edit]

Image:Ross Kemp on Gangs.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Questionable use of possibly copyrighted material. Some, if not all (I didn't check all of it), of the text concerning episodes in the series seems to be exactly the same as the official Skyone page (http://www.skyone.co.uk/rosskemp/). Doesn't give attribution to skyone if it is in fact required, merely has a link under external links. Currently unknown whether it is original here or at Skyone. Probably best to check. No clarification about copyright on discussion page, whether it is fair use etc. (Placed on discussion page due to uncertainty about how to continue.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.72.252.49 (talk) 07:40, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Series 4[edit]

Listed here for the 3rd episode is Liverpool, but Sky1 advertisments today listed Belieze as the next one to be show? Is there a mistake here or sky1's86.44.7.189 (talk) 21:20, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Critics, and: is this really a documentary?[edit]

Is there any critical review on this series? At least what I have seen, the Rio and the Russian Episode, seemed quite unreliable to me: tabloid and sensationalist journalism at its worst. Are there any sources of other opinions? At last: is this show really a documentary, or is infotainment more like it? Yes, the people who are shown are real people, not actors or pseudo-experts, but the role of Mr. Kemp as an "investigative journalist" is obviously so manipulating, that I think to categorize the show as infotainment could be more appropriate.--JakobvS (talk) 22:44, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

polish football hools - questionable "neo nazi"[edit]

In this episode Ross described 4 groups : Lech Poznan, Cracovia Krakow, Stilon Gorzow, and Wisla Krakow. Only neo nazis there were a group who occasionally join Stilon's supporters in combat. I just watched it on youtube (Ross Kemp on Gangs Poland) and I belive "neo-nazi" should be dropped. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.252.115.250 (talk) 14:50, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kingston is not and has not been for a great many years the murder capital in the world. That's still Ciudad Juarez in Mexico. Please correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.216.17.146 (talk) 17:17, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
