Before 1967?[edit]

RBQ cannot have been broadcast on Radio 4 since 1947, since Radio 4 did not exist in 1947! I'm not sure whether it was on the Home Service or the Light Programme until 1967, so haven't edited. 86.132.142.207 (talk) 23:01, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was, amazingly, on the Light Programme. (Source: Radio Times magazine) 2A00:23C7:C5C1:9101:CD37:8320:1395:EF06 (talk) 09:27, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Scoring[edit]

'Points are arbitrarily awarded to each team by the host/quizmaster.' Surely not? I would hope that points are awarded according to how well the contestants answer the questions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.131.14.10 (talk) 20:52, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, the points are arbitrary. Sounds like you are using arbitrary to mean random, whereas the author meant the OED definition:

1. To be decided by one's liking; dependent upon will or pleasure; at the discretion or option of any one. Obs. in general use. 2. Law. Relating to, or dependent on, the discretion of an arbiter, arbitrator, or other legally-recognized authority; discretionary, not fixed. 3. Derived from mere opinion or preference; not based on the nature of things; hence, capricious, uncertain, varying. 144.32.126.11 (talk) 15:43, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
