Pronunciation[edit]

Whats the correct pronunciation of Roxburgh? 'Burg as in Iceberg, 'Burrah / 'borough. I think it should be "Rocs-burr-ah" as per "Roxborough Township 1690" --220.244.251.159 23:41, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I personally have always used and heard it pronounced as 'Rox-borough' (as in Edinburgh). But a friend who lives there has heard both pronunciations above used by locals (the second as in Hamburg, Iceberg etc). —lheydon (talk) 01:32, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
