Andamooka people call the town home?[edit]

The line "Andamooka people call the town home, and many are of European background since the days of early opal mining." does not make sense to me. Who are "Andamooka people"? Who says they call Roxby home? Does anyone have a reference for this claim, or the proported European background? I thought many of the original settlers were Turkish and "Afghans" because Coober Pedy had too much friction with Greeks and Yugoslavs?
