Accuracy[edit]

I am the press officer for the Royal Humane Society and, together with our archivist, have spotted a number of factual inaccuracies in your article. It may have been correct in 1911 but not today! The Society is no longer actively involved in lifesaving but gives awards for bravery to people nominated for lifesaving. The date of the founding of the Receiving House in Hyde Park is also wrong - and the building no longer exists. I propose correcting your article, using the society's own records as my source. Medals[edit]

I will redirect Stanhope Medal here as there is no article on it. This page should probably make some mention of the medal and its history. Drutt (talk) 20:01, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Recipients list[edit]

The list as headed is too vague as it does not link the particular people to the award they received out of the range of awards the society conferred, and most are uncited. I am intrigued Russian Tsar Alexander I is listed, his wikipedia biography does not list his RHS award among his list of honours, same applies to David Hempleman-Adams, Bram Stoker, Grace Darling (who did receive a medal from the RNLI). I have added citations and citation need tags where applicable.Cloptonson (talk) 06:03, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Certificate of my grand grand father.[edit]

Hello I found a certificate from my grandfather's house which was issued from the society in 1891. Please contact me if possible to put that certificate on society's website. Thanks Imran Iqbal Khan
