HES dates open to challenge?[edit]

According to the postal directory for 1837-38, the following houses were occupied: 5 to 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 18, 18, 19, 21 to 25, 31, 32, and 34. This contradicts the information in the listing pages of Historic Environment Scotland with regard to 18, 19, 21, 22, 31, 32 and 34. Perhaps the numbering scheme changed? But this seems unlikely. Longest Georgian terrace in Europe[edit]

IP 145.224.65.251 has been deleting the statement "— this is probably the longest Georgian terrace in Europe, a straight, continuous structure measuring 360 metres from east to west." If there is a another longer terrace then by all means provide the evidence, otherwise please stop trying to remove this statement, which is explained more fully in the paragraph 'Length and 'Whisky Row'.
