Old photo[edit]

The photo of the Society's front door is obsolete. They have moved the Museum/Society down to the water front to be closer to where the ferry stops. This appears to be a more permanent move. As of Oct. 2008. 143.232.210.150 (talk) 23:37, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Royal and Ancient" ... says who?[edit]

The Norwegian title Isbjørnklubben just means "Polar Bear Club", which much of the article correctly and reasonably uses as the translation. So where did the English translation "Royal and Ancient Polar Bear Society" come from? At the least, it's wholly uncited. Of the 2 citations in the article, one is a dead link and the other uses "Polar Bar Club". Chiswick Chap (talk) 20:32, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
