Cast List[edit]

Manual of Style says to include it as it provides a medium to include background notes about the film on the characters/actors. Getting rid of it shouldn't happen, if an editor comes along looking to put information in then they can put information in as they see fit. Cast lists need to be there to provide quick access to the information. MisterShiney (talk) 19:55, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article is only getting startedl, too early to remove the cast list, even if you think it might need to be removed in a year. It should be there to encourage people to include Cast and Casting information. -- 109.76.140.20 (talk) 04:03, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Zombie film[edit]

Is the Zombie film they watch Braindead by Peter Jackson? Looks familiar. Found a source that thinks it is "Dead Alive" by Peter Jackson but short of a critic mentioning it in their review I'm not sure there is much reason to add it to the article. -- 109.76.140.20 (talk) 04:03, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Location featurette[edit]

Paraphrasing of the location featurette follows, not sure how much I'll be able to incorporate neatly into the article. Feel free to add, fix, and transcribe any of the rest of the featurette if you like. Would have been almost trivial if the video had closed captions. -- 109.76.140.20 (talk) 15:58, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[Jonathan Dayton, Valerie Faris] ... Silver Lake, Los Angeles and Loz Feliz ... cafe Figaro, Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles ... Hollywood Cemetery, so there is this sense of the East side of Los Angeles.

[Judy Becker Production Designer] The house where Mort and Gertrude live is almost a character in the movie. The house is ... top of the Hollywood Hills near Mullholland ...

Lloyd Wright designed house ... Hollywood party.

[Zoe Kazan] My memories of the city all have to do with things you could do in any city, driving at night, taking hikes, and I wanted to put that Los Angeles on screen. It is totally human sized.

Budget?[edit]

How much did this movie cost to make? Hamsterlopithecus (talk) 08:27, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

IMDB estimates $8 million.
This figure seems to be based on statements that Ruby sparks was made for the same budget as Little Miss Sunshine. -- 37.110.218.43 (talk) 09:51, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Plot[edit]

Says "and they break down in love" - what does that mean? I've seen the film but it was a while ago Dichohecho (talk) 10:58, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No idea - looks like the plot summary works perfectly well without it, so I'm just going to remove it. --Fru1tbat (talk) 20:04, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
