Copyvio[edit]

At various times, the article has incorporated text from the subject's website and/or AllAboutJazz.com. Today I have reverted to the 19 March 2010 version (pre-copyvio). Just thought I'd leave a note here so that others might keep an eye out for it. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:18, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

When[edit]

The article currently says, "Mahanthappa has been named a 'rising star' in Down Beat's Critics Poll for the past 4 years, rising to number 2 on the list in the most recent publication." It wasn't written this year (2010) so we need to specify when these awards occurred. I wasn't able to find it on Downbeat.com. Based on this edit it is based on the 2006 awards, but there is no attribution. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:18, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I made a change to rephrase this using the citable info I could find. Unfortunately, DownBeat's online archives do not have previous years' info on the info on the rising star categories, and I fear that the 2010 results will be deleted on their website when they announce the 2011 winners.
