Artistic break before last 17 pages[edit]

Quote: "artwork by Terese Nielsen, her husband Cliff Nielsen, and Chris Moeller, who took over for the last seventeen pages of the second issue."

Quote Gary Westfahl on Cliff Nielsen in The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction (first September 2012): "He presumably met and married Terese Nielsen while they were both studying at Pasadena's noted Art Center College of Design, and they collaborated on the Marvel Comics miniseries Ruins (1995) before divorcing."

This suggests, but only suggests, that the Nielsens split as an illustrator duo during production of this work with 17 pages to go. Does the story break in a way that implies the artistic break was planned, or continue in a way that suggests it was not planned? Is there any relevant foreword or publisher's notes about the creators?
