How about telling us what "1/2 split seam" and "3/4 split seam" mean? The obvious interpretation doesn't seem to have to do with length, and this in itself is making me wonder: what is 1/2 or 3/4 of what? -- Smjg 15:43, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll get some piccies and explain. It's to do with the length of the split up each side. 1/2 means the split starts half way, 3/4 means the split starts three quarters of the way down the side. Toby Douglass 21:52, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly - that's not the length of the shorts, it's the ratio between the length of the seam and the length of the shorts. But maybe some pictures would indeed help.... -- Smjg 11:46, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
