  • Comment - The term Rye Dale is erroneous as no reliable cites support this. The area is always referred to as Ryedale, and not Rye Dale. I was brought here because an IP changed all the terms on this page from Rye Dale to Ryedale. Cites supporting the term Ryedale for the valley (not the local government district of Ryedale) are here:[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
Only issue is what to call it for natural disambiguation purposes; Ryedale (dale), Ryedale, river valley etc. Regards. The joy of all things (talk) 20:13, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
