Questioning the description for the article on S&M as Sadomasochism[edit]

This page describes S&M (referring to Sadomasochism) as "a form of sexual roleplaying" while sadomasochism (as well as its separate parts) does not need to have sexual purpose, nor even physical purpose. The article for sadomasochism even states that sadism and masochism refer to "the sexual or non-sexual gratification in the infliction of pain or humiliation upon (another/oneself) [respectively]."

As sadomasochism can deal individually with gratification in relation to sex, non-sexual physicality, and psychology, I feel that it's important to label the redirection to the article correctly, so that people don't see the inaccurate description and assume that sadomasochism only refers to the sexual aspects of the concept.

I came to Wikipedia to make sure I didn't use the term "S&M" incorrectly when applying it to a situation of psychological dominance in a relationship. I found my answer on the page for Sadomasochism, but as S&M is the more common term in casual conversation, I imagine most people looking it up would naturally search for S&M--and then find an inaccurate description of it here.

S&M → S&M (disambiguation) – S&M should become a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT to Sadomasochism. Page view statistics show that the Sadomasochism article is viewed far more than the other articles listed on this disambiguation page, and the number of views this disambiguation page has received is comparable to the number of views of each of the articles listed other than Sadomasochism.
