Company vs Disambig[edit]

A.arvind.arasu's actions brought me to this page. Blindly redirecting this page all over is not the proper action. I do wonder, however, why in this case this particular company gets the main "CSK" spot. Given a full ten entries on the disambiguation page, I do not really see this company as particularly standing out from the crowd. My opinion would be that this article should be moved to "CSK (corporation)" or "CSK (company)", or some such, and the disambiguation moved here. Just my opinion at this point, but if I do not get objections, I may be WP:BOLD about this within the next few days. :) - TexasAndroid (talk) 17:35, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation[edit]

Im very sorry to the fact that i have not participated in the talk page while making changes to this article.first of all pardon me for my ignorance.Ive been repeadtedly rediericting this page cause CSK Group is a holding which is officially recognised as CSK Group then howcome CSK directly redirects to it?Thats why i have created a new page called CSK Group with all the content that was previously available and the new page directly leads to the disambiguation.Do advice if i had not done anything right.

Thanks for participating here. Since the CSK article has the history of edits about the company, it should probably be moved to CSK Group rather than copying and pasting the content there (as I understand it, the license requires that the history remain linked to the content in order to know who contributed what). Then a new "CSK" article can be created as a redirect to the disambiguation page (instead of copying and pasting the content of the disambiguation page). Despite my earlier opinion, I have no objection to making "CSK" redirect to the disambiguation page and moving the current CSK article to "CSK Group" (is this the official name?); let's just make sure we do it the right way and that the new name is the correct one. I've temporarily reverted your change to the article, but I'll try to figure this out -- I've never tried moving pages before. Kcowolf (talk) 01:06, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Moved[edit]

I've tagged CSK Group for speedy deletion, moved the former "CSK" article to CSK Holdings Corporation, and made CSK a redirect to CSK (disambiguation). If there's anything I did wrong or anything else that needs to be done, please let me know. Also, this may be a bit WP:BOLD, so I'm happy to discuss my edits if there is any disagreement. In particular, if anyone knows of any significant difference between the entities "CSK", "CSK Group", and "CSK Holdings Corporation", please let me know; the website only mentions "CSK Holdings Corporation", though the logo says "CSK Group".
