Plamo[edit]

"is a Japanese anime television adaptation of the SD Gundam plamo series BB Senshi Sangokuden"

OK, what the heck does plamo mean? Is this someone sticking in random Japanese terms in order to be "cool" instead of using plain English? —Farix (t | c) 11:39, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is a Plamo article on Wiki, and it fits the description. SDGundamFan (talk) 06:54, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have a reliable source for either the Plamo definition or that the series fits the definition? Because as it stands, I'm tempted to take out the term in the article and since the Plamo off to AfD. I've attempted to search the term, but the only thing I can come up with is related to a computer generated models of factories. —Farix (t | c) 12:37, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'll also note that the Japanese language Wikipedia has no article on Plamo, but does have an article on Plastic model at プラモデル. —Farix (t | c) 12:52, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I don't know of any official sources for the word Plamo, but it has been used in modelling communities. Also, note that the abbreviated form of Plastic model is Plamo. I have also googled the word, and most search results lead to plastic modelling communities. Either way, if it's still bugging you, I'll just change it to say SD Gundam model kit series....
