I wouldn't consider a wartime British source exactly reliable in reporting on a U-boat attack... Was Portugal marked as a hospital ship? Was she lit correcly? And what do the Germans say? Otherwise, it's entirely Brit POV. TREKphilerany time you're ready, Uhura 23:35, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This U-boat fought through the entire war and sunk an incredible number of ships (more than 80), but the history mentions only two controversial incidents. Surely it should be more balanced? I'd like to read more of a summary of the four years of action. According to the List of successful U-boats, U-33 is the fifth-most successful German submarine in WWI. If you want more information on individual ships, feel free to add it, the relevant sources are all there. ÄDA - DÄP VA (talk) 18:09, 28 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
