New article[edit]

This title has redirected to Nord Aviation for the past nine years for some reason; it was linked in 2008 to the equivalent French article with the edit summary “this article should not be a redirect” but no-one has seen fit to write it.
To be clear, SNCAN was one of six companies set up in 1936 by the French government; all the others have articles, and SNCAN is just as significant. Also, SNCAN didn't become Nord Aviation until after the merger in 1954, so it lasted longer in that form than at least three of the others (SNCAO, SNCAC and SNCAM). There's also nothing in the Nord article about the company before 1954.
So I have cancelled the redirect and added some text on the company; I trust that is OK with everyone. Xyl 54 (talk) 17:28, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
