History[edit]

Unfortunately, I know nothing about SS501 other than the fact that they exist. Can someone please add information on their singles, their activities, their success, etc? SKS2K6 06:44, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Separate discography page?[edit]

I think they need a separate discography page since their discography section takes up more space than the article itself. Just a suggestion though. Regards, Ellysse ♥ (talk) 12:45, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was just reading through their article and their huge discography is the first thing I noticed. I agree they should have their own discography page. MomoXomo (talk) 00:00, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues[edit]

I just added a multiple issues info box to this article. Most of the article strikes me as being copy-pasted from a fan page or the official band's website, since there is quite some non-notable information in this article and I'm missing a lot of references.

To improve this article, I think the sections "Concerts", "Radio shows" and "Reality shows and documentaries" can be summarized or removed. If these lists are retained, their formatting should at least definitely be improved.

Furthermore, I strongly believe that the section "Member Profile" does not add anything of value to the article. --87.251.51.88 (talk) 13:47, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

SS501 was never part of SM Entertainment, whoever is adding this needs to stop adding false information, as it has no reference whatsoever. Check credible sources such as SM or DSP's official website, or even Naver. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.36.63 (talk) 21:00, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Updated Page[edit]

I updated the page to recent. I also added more information and references for better article. I hope more Wiki editors will come and edit the page, and will be involved in the talk page as well. If there are mistakes or wrong information, please do tell me. Thanks!

→== remove the filmography page=== I can't even read the damn thing the charts were made that badly. What little I was able to see is that it includes solo member drama's which should be on their individual pages, and that all the links I checked for the references led to articles that were gone except the one the led to a dvd I could buy. It would be easier to start from nothing than to try to fix that page.Peachywink (talk) 23:14, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! I don't think it's a good idea to remove their filmography page, but I agree that the page is not pleasing to the readers' eyes at the moment. I wanted to fix the page myself but I cannot do it right now due to school projects and such. Would you be able to wait til I finish my school this year? I will be active again on Wikipedia at around the second half of April (or early May), then I'll be able to revamp the page. :) 001Jrm (talk) 00:22, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I can wait...but I happen to know some other editors are eyeing it and would suggest you post a notice on that pages talk page so that they might see it too. but I stand by the fact that it is VERY hard to read that page, lol.Peachywink (talk) 02:21, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Is it official removed or will someone make a new one? MSJ972 (talk) 07:18, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The standalone article was deleted. (See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SS501 filmography.) A list of the group's documentaries/reality series and group cameos on TV dramas can be added here if anyone wants to. Random86 (talk) 07:43, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Where do the numbers of the table come from?[edit]

Undid revision 804161519 by Dr.K. (talk) They’re a compilation of sales from three of S. Korea’s largest music vendors: Hanteo, Hottracks, and Synnara. is not an answer. Please provide the inline citations supporting the numbers of that table. Needless to say, the edit-warring of the unsourced table into the article must stop. 2011-2017 section uneccesary?[edit]

I fully understand SS501 is still a group, and they're coming back, but is every detail of every member's solo career really necessary? This page is about SS501, not Hyunjoong or Youngsaeng. And then the part about Double S 301 is almost exactly parallel to a previous revision of the entire Double S 301 Wikipedia page. Should we just cut everything after the 2010 (excluding 2018 reunion, Double S 301 debut, and which labels the members signed to?)-K-popguardian (talk) 17:25, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Plus some info is outdateed and still in the present tense (ex: "SS501 is soon to return as Double S 301")-K-popguardian (talk) 17:30, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think most details about their solo careers can be deleted. Just a mention that the group members spent those years doing solo activities should suffice. Lenoresm (talk) 19:09, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
