Title Change[edit]

The title should be Lazio Women, not S.S. Lazio Women 2015. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stevenkm119 (talkcontribs) 21:44, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate history?[edit]

The Italian Wikipedia has the pre-2015 entity (which continues at amateur level) and the post-2015 entity in Serie A/B as two separate articles (it:Società Sportiva Lazio Women 2015 and it:Società Sportiva Lazio Calcio Femminile respectively). There is also a discrepancy between the inter-language links and the player categories as a result. Because both Lazio teams fall under the umbrella of the SS Lazio sports club, this situation is more complicated than that of, for example, Inter Milan (women) who basically bought out the older but clearly separate 'tribute' club of the same name. However, the fact that the professional Lazio team has '2015' in its name and is owned by the football corporation rather than the sports club itself, suggests to me that they should be treated separately here too. The amateur team article says it "ceded the sporting title to SS Lazio Women 2015" but I don't know what that actually entails. The link in Italian[1] is to a PDF which is of course not impossible to translate but a lot more fiddly than a Web page. Crowsus (talk) 12:39, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, i agree. The pdf just says that the pro team took over the place in the league i think. -Koppapa (talk) 15:09, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
