Confusing/Misleading[edit]

The article indicates that the stern broke off the ship in 2004. This is not true. The stern has been separated from the main wreck since at least the 1960s (when I first started going there), and most likely since the 1920s. There was additional damage during the 2004 hurricanes, but the initial separation of the stern happened much, much earlier. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.109.193.252 (talk) 05:44, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
