Name[edit]

I have heard that the name "B engine" comes from that it run on petrol (bensin), but I haven't found any sources to back it up. // Liftarn (talk)

2 stroke?[edit]

How could the B engine have replaced a 2-stroke engine in the 99? The 96 had a three cylinder two stroke engine, which was replaced by a ford V4 engine, but the 99, in which the B engine was found, never had a two troke engine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.73.205.198 (talk) 14:37, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
