Merge[edit]

Both articles refer to the same airport, one in its former AFB configuration and one in its current public airport configuration. I don't see any reason to not merge. thadius856talk 22:23, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't Merge[edit]

I disagree. Mather AFB has a long and valued history as a USAF Navigator Training Base. It should be kept intact and not merged with Sacramento Mather Airport.Colgator 09:01, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps it does, but in their current states, neither article is so long that it demands its own article. If they were longer or substantially expanded, I'd agree with you. thadius856talk|airports|neutrality 21:45, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have been expanding and editing the Mather Air Force Base page. For that reason, I have deleted the tag to merge the pages from the Mather Air Force Base page. If any page should be merged, it should be the Sacramento Mather Field page into the Mather Air Force Base page.Colgator 03:29, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do not merge.[edit]

Each article has its own separate history. Eventually Sacramento Mather Airport's history will become unique and separate from its predecestor. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ronbo76 (talkcontribs) 03:48, 14 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]
