Edit[edit]

Made a few more changes, none of which should conflict with the previous changes. No reversion is intended; I was only fixing copy.

Edited to clean this up, and remove repeated data. Is a list of jumpstarted mutants necessary? Wouldn't that information be contained in those characters pages?

Sage does indeed sacrifice her telepathy to gain greater telepathic shielding/cloaking from other telepaths.

Also, someone is reverting changes. If this happens again it will be reported as vandalism. Please contact me instead.

Sage's "Computer-like" abilities and the ability to sense mutants and latent mutants are a part of her jumpstarting power, and should be listed together.

Furthermore, Sage credits her shields to will and training in #41, as do the narrative captions in other issues; lose of telepathy is a side effect. This, and the ability to reflect mental attacks should not be confused with mutant power, as it is purely a skill.

"Jumpstart" list exemplifies how her mutant power works and what it does.

Jumpstart list[edit]

Could a list be compiled of people Sage "jumpstarted?"

Powers[edit]

In Uncanny X-men 447, sage demonstrated a power to channel powers, chanelling bishops energy to Rachel, and drawing on Wolverine's healing factor. Should this be added?

Telepathy[edit]

It is downright STATED in the last issues of X-treme X-Men that Sage can sacrifice her telepathy to become immune to psychic attacks.Fil-mex91 16:44, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You shouldn't mistake the consequence for the cause. Pharzuph

Telepathy... she still has it; Other powers[edit]

Just because she turned off her telepathy doesn't mean she doesn't have it anymore. She believes that being immune to mental attack is just more important than exercising telepathy. It is very similar to when the X-Men believed Ice-Man had been de-powered, when it was revealed that he shut off his power. Also in New X-Men, when she and Bishop were investigating Emma Frost's "murder" she revealed she could send e-mails using only her mind. If that's not cyberpathy, then what is it. (and no, she did not use her sunglasses to send the e-mail). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.170.93.59 (talk) 00:19, 12 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Aeon Flux[edit]

Despite the request for notation, I change the following line:

Sage also bears a remarkable resemblance to the titular lead of the 1990s animated series Aeon Flux[citation needed].

to

The titular lead of the 1990s animated series Aeon Flux[citation needed] also bears a remarkable resemblance to Sage.

Typically the newer character would resemble the older character, not the other way around.--RedKnight (talk) 13:38, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's debatable that it should even be in there. I don't find the resemblance remarkable at all. I only see a superficial resemblance in their hairstyles; and, when Aeon Flux was created, Sage (or 'Tessa') still had the Hellfire Club 1800s style updo, as far as I know. I doubt that Sage's new look was inspired by Aeon, and I'm almost certain that Aeon was NOT in any way inspired by Tessa/Sage.CarelessTantrum (talk) 14:49, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RetCon[edit]

Should it not be mentioned somewhere that "Sage as spy" was a retcon? 182.237.5.218 (talk) 02:52, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
