Founding date dispute[edit]

In the infobox of this article, the founding date was given as 1722. However, in the French version, it gives 1855 as the founding date. Which is correct? -- azumanga (talk) 03:23, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Couldn't find where the year 1722 came from or what it referred to. In 1855, it was incorporated as a parish municipality. In 1989, the current municipality was formed when it merged with the Village Municipality of La Pérade. I have updated the infobox to show this info. Reporting vandalism[edit]

On checking the commotion:

The picture of the geese is irrelevant, as not specific for the subject
The picture of the Maria statue is irrelevant, as not specific for the subject
The quote from De Gaulle is irrelevant, as not specific for the subject
The section about geography reads as promo
The photo gallery can be trimmed but not deleted
The article can do with more sources, removing them is not a good idea when you are trying to maintain a reliable encyclopedia. But please make sure that the sources are relevant, reliable and independent. Genealogical sites should be watched with caution.
The "further reading" section reads as a manual for genealogical research, falling foul of Wikipedia is not a manual, guidebook, textbook, or scientific journal.

To my humble opinion, both the removals and reverts are incorrect. As often, the truth lies more in the middle. The Banner talk 20:56, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
