About sakhejung[edit]
The sakhejung is one of the beautiful VDC in ilam . Mainly the occupation of the people of here is farming but one thing we must remind that the agricultural process is much more advanced here. The people mostly involving in Tea farming . The mechi highway almost cover the most part of the village
There is 2 small town Nepaltar and Rakse (triveni chowk). Mr. Jhal nath Khanal was born in this village .His father name is punga nath khanal and mother is madhumaya khanal. Still one of his brother live in this village his name is MR pota nath khanal . He is still serving as government teacher and also as tea farmer . The super tasty homemade tea which is totally organic now is available in Himal tea garden. The main features of this garden is not also a single amount of chemical is used to manufacturing the tea .And the tea is exclusivel;y prepared by the Man's hand.If you visit sakhejung you must visit HIMAL TEA GARDEN.
