Notability[edit]

I would argue that Sal Brinton is sufficiently notable to have a biography. Even ignoring her business career, she meets the criterion of "Major local political figures who have received significant press coverage" in the guidelines, for example through successfully taking second place in the 2005 elections on a large swing and through being the target of harrassment by a slightly deranged rival candidate (see article).
