Position on Finely Textured Lean Beef or "Pink Slime" In March of 2012, Brownback joined Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad to promote a practice among meatpackers involving the addition of chemically-treated meat trimmings to commercial ground beef. Critics had objected to the unlabeled introduction of this product into ground beef distributed to fast-food restaurants, retail supermarkets and the federal school lunch program. Not done for now: Proposed text is problematic per WP:UNDUE. The issue has received significant attention recently, but it needs to be shown that Brownback's position on this issue (as opposed to the issue itself) has been discussed extensively by secondary sources. Additionally, the mention of the two other governors seems gratuitous unless reliable sources indicate something noteworthy about the the three of them acting together on this.
