City?[edit]

We might need to create a new article after reports that a new "city" has been built.[1][2] I understand that this is actually the reconstruction of the old township. Disambiguation will be difficult.--Jack Upland (talk) 00:35, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Rename page to Samjiyon[edit]

The Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly issued a decree on 10 December 2019 that turned Samjiyon County into Samjiyon City. In line with this, the page should be renamed to Samjiyon. [3] --Migs005 (talk) 23:00, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure this renaming is the best way to go. Samjiyon City replaces Samjiyon County, so it is lot bigger than the town of Samjiyon. Samjiyon is also the name of the lake.--Jack Upland (talk) 00:30, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
