* ... that the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G is Samsung's first mid-range (non-flagship) smartphone to feature 5G connectivity, with a starting price of 900,000 Korean Won? [1] [2]

  • The article is long enough and new enough with no copyright violations. A QPQ is not needed. The hook is directly cited. This is ready. SL93 (talk) 04:41, 13 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but it really sounds like an advertisement. Yoninah (talk) 19:18, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Yoninah: I have made some changes to the article, but if this is not enough, could you provide some examples on the article sounding like an ad? All of the claims made in the article are sourced by WP:RS (for both specs and reviews section). It is because the layout of the article is similar to other smartphone articles, so I hope you can provide some examples for me to fix. Thanks, Taewangkorea (talk) 20:45, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Taewangkorea: sorry I didn't make myself clear. I was referring to the hook. I haven't read your article yet. Yoninah (talk) 21:05, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Yoninah: I think the case is same with the hook, as that is basically what the WP:RS cited in the hook are saying. Taewangkorea (talk) 21:37, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Yoninah: That is what I did for the hook (it is 1 fact with 2 sources to support it), and I don't know how much more it can be hookier. I also think this is a different problem than the hook sounding like an ad (which I do not think is the case after reading through the guide to identifying advertising). • @Taewangkorea: I see you're an expert on these smartphones, so it might be hard to pull back and write for readers who aren't. Personally, I have no experience or knowledge of smartphones. Why not write a hook that people like me can appreciate? You can describe one of the features in a hooky way, like, "... that you only need one hand to operate the new Samsung phone?" Yoninah (talk) 22:13, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Taewangkorea: Thank you. Now, you don't have to explain everything in the hook, or there's no reason to click on the article. How about shortening it to:
  • ALT1a: ... that despite its large screen size, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G can be operated with one hand? Yoninah (talk) 00:06, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks. Since I can't approve my own hook, let's get a review for ALT1. Pinging original reviewer @SL93:. Yoninah (talk) 00:54, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Approving ALT1. SL93 (talk) 13:38, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Yoninah and SL93: Thank you for your help. I assume that sometime in the future alt1 will be promoted to the prep area? Taewangkorea (talk) 17:39, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
