Overhaul[edit]

A complete over-haul of this article is in order. It sounds awfully alot like a company ad than an encyclopedia article. -- (unsigned comment by 69.3.163.84, posted 03:23, November 6, 2005)

you'd be surprised that there are lots of articles that look like essays. -- (unsigned comment by 61.68.114.159, posted 00:26, November 21, 2005)

I've added a company infobox and edited the brewery infobox to remove beer brands from overseas operations. SMB is a domestic beer subsidiary of SMC. I've left the "Overseas and local perations" as well as the "Trivia" section to be edited in the future. Hi![edit]

Hey, I just edited this page! Hope you enjoy the facts I've added. The previous version of this page is really awful. Even though I didn't create this page, I really added a lot more info here. -- (unsigned comment by Obin 3391, posted 23:34, January 22, 2006)

Glad you could shed some light on the additional beer labels released worldwide under the San Miguel Escudo. I tried removing a lot of the more conversational tone and "company ad" language to get this article looking more in line with what you should see in an encyclopedia. For your information, wiki-linking street addresses isn't terribly effective, as streets are generally considered outside the domain of Wikipedia.

Correction! I will delete San Miguel Especial in the beer list because it is owned by San Miguel Fabricas de Cerveza y Malta S.A. (San Miguel Brewery of Malta, Inc.)...sorry for the inconvenience! -- Obin 3391 13:13, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:SMC Logo.png[edit]

Image:SMC Logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Removed Australian Beers[edit]

Boag's breweries of Tasmania were sold to Lion Nathan in 2007. Which is unfortunate in a way because San Miguel is now virtually unobtainable in Australia any more. I had been hoping for Red Horse to be imported but sadly not to be. --MichaelGG (talk) 04:32, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't San Miguel primarily a Spanish beer?[edit]

I came here because I looked for the San Miguel brewery in Málaga, Spain, and I noted that in Spain San Miguel is one of the prime beer brands. Rbakels (talk) 06:12, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
