Untitled[edit]

From various sources on the net, it seems his nickname was "optimo imperator". Anyone know the origin of its use? They seem to have a common source: Roderick Stuart's "Royalty for Commoners". --Countakeshi 04:40, 10 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There is no historical basis for this - probably confusion with Sancho III, who did use the Imperial title. Agricolae 01:16, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You may be right, the book has been criticised for sloppiness. --Countakeshi 10:39, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Missing facts![edit]

Look at the spanish article: In 917 he joined forces with Ordoño II beating the caliphate, and 920 Abd-ar-Rahman returned even to demolish the cathedral of Pamplona. Battle of Valdejunquera. That's what happened in 920! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.247.27.221 (talk) 15:23, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
