Accused of rape[edit]

As the captain of the national team and a well-known player of t20 leagues around the world, Lamichhane is not a private individual. All the national news sources are covering the investigation and as such major developments are WP:DUE in the article, especially now that he has been suspended by CAN, and the police is seeking to immediately return him to Nepal for arrest.

Some "journalist"s are going to try and identify the complainant (unnamed 17-year-old girl) and make information about her public; some have already. However, she is protected by our WP:BLP policy both as a private individual and as a minor. So, please do not add her name or any other personal details to the article.
