2008 Sandown 400[edit]

The newly named Midas 400 is just a sprint round of the V8 series, in keeping with the article which does not cover any of the other ATCC/V8 Supercar sprint rounds I removed the recent additions. --Falcadore (talk) 07:50, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

V8 Supercars officially has the Sandown sprint and 500km races as a continuing lineage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.34.60.7 (talk) 19:08, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Previous names[edit]

The previous name table takes up a lot of space without saying much - would it not be better for presentation to incoprorate the race names into the table of winners provided below? --Falcadore (talk) 07:50, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I totally agree. In fact this was done some time last year but has since been reversed. --GTHO (talk) 00:23, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The bolding is a bit overpowering. --Falcadore (talk) 13:08, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're right. I don't know why I did that. Now removed. GTHO (talk) 09:55, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've changed the winners table to the same style used in other individual race history tables. The changing race names should be included in the articles about the specific races. --Pc13 (talk) 12:15, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see no reason to allow the shortcomings of other race history tables to dictate how we populate this one! The incorporation of the actual race names into the table serves a useful and relevant purpose in presenting a summary of the evolution of the race on the one page. Why should readers have to access almost forty separate pages to find this information? I propose to restore the race names to the table. GTHO (talk) 06:58, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
