Expansion[edit]

Does this stadium have the ability to be expanded to a larger capacity. If Montreal Impact are admitted to the MLS then they would surely require a larger stadium? Actually, some parts of the stadium (when I went), were empty. According to a pamphlet I received at the Montreal Impact game, the stadium can hold 13,000 people, and a possible 18,000 with expansion. Name in infobox[edit]

Why are we calling it Stade Saputo in the infobox? If you visit the impact website, which is probably a good source for the name, and go to the English section, which we probably ought to as this is en-wp, they call it Saputo Stadium. Dbrodbeck (talk) 19:20, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The name should be Stade Saputo and the article should be moved. It's also used in the history section: http://www.impactmontreal.com/en/club/history and the Stadiums section of the main navigational heading. According to WP:CANSTYLE the current naming convention is to reflect actual English usage. The CBC, The Globe and Mail, CTV and The Montreal Gazette all refer to Saputo Stadium, not Stade Saputo. I did a Google News search for "Stade Saputo", and almost all of the results were either in French or were from websites not based in Canada.
