Ownership[edit]

@FFM784: The ownership seems to be a tricky thing here. The Saratoga County GIS system lists D&H (ie CPKC) as the owner of the parcel, and this 2004 article indicates that CDTA leases the station building from CP. While it's possible that the CDTA owns the building outright (but not the land), I can't find any solid proof. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 02:02, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

On the Saratoga County website I found a Memorandum of Lease that was recorded on May 23, 2002. The lease run until 2042. What exactly the lease says is unclear, but from this document it seems certain that the land and the building are leased by the CDTA from the owner of the property, which is the railroad.
