Merge Sarangi (Nepali) with Sarinda[edit]

I know that many Nepalis call the Sarinda a "Sarangi", however, this is a colloqial misnomer. The actually classical Hindustani Sarangis proper are also being used by some Nepali Hindustani classical instrumentalists. This article describes the folk instrument as used by stree musicans and mendicants.There is not even a close resemblance (as with the Sindhi Sarangi) between the two. Having two "Sarangi" pages out there creates further confusion. The so called Sarangi (Nepali) is in fact a Sarinda. At least, it is within the Sarinda family, and not within the sarangi group. Either the page needs to be renamed into Sarinda (Nepali) or be merged with Sarinda.95.223.187.171 (talk) 03:48, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Afghanistan[edit]

Perhaps someone with more knowledge on the subject than myself would care to research the Sarinda's use in Afghanistan, since I don't see mention of it there in the main Article. --Frankwm1 (talk) 23:03, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
