User:Thorncrag, Please provide explanation if you have doubt that if this Sarvavijnanakosam article should not be included. Don't just put a tag. This is the most important encyclopedia in the Malayam language. You have to explain why there should not be an article about this? The article does not assert notability of this web site, nor does it contain a single referenced reliable sourced other than itself, both of which are required. I have directed you towards the relevant Wikipedia guidelines on your talk page. Please do not remove the tags again without resolving these issues. Duplication?[edit]

If, "Sarvavijnanakosam, known in English as the Malayalam Encyclopaedia" is true, is it not duplication to have an article with each name. If so, might these be best merged with a redirect from whatever title is designated as non-titular to that which is given titular precedence? Colin McTroll (talk) 01:41, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

OK for a merge. But what to do with A translated version of Britannica Concise Encyclopædia was published by DC books. ??? It is not Sarvavijnanakosam. And never related to it. in 2004, a Consumer Court banned the sale of the book. What to do with this controversy. We cannot ditch this information. Also Malayalam Encyclopedia is not Sarvavijnanakosam alone. There are other encyclopeidas by different publishers in Malayalam. What to do with those? I have redirected that page to this article, was a complete duplicate. The Britannica section was about an unrelated encyclopedia.

@Ranjithsiji From what it looks like this seems to be the only major Malayalam encyclopedia known with the title “Malayalam Encyclopedia” so a redirect should be alright.

It can also be redirected to List of encyclopedias by language#Malayalam. But that should probably be discussed.

The Malayalam Encyclopaedia Britannica is completely unrelated and there is no need to preserve that information; in this article anyway. Gotitbro (talk) 01:31, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
