Canon in C[edit]

I could be mistaken, but I seem to recognize Canon in C by Pachelbel in this song, though I have not yet found any confirmation of this. One of my hobbies is working on music, and when I was using the Canon in C, I recognized the melody from Scatman's World. Despite having no confirmation, I am 99.99% sure that the Scatman sampled the Canon (in C) for this track. Thyoberion (talk) 15:25, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is the same chord progression found in Pachelbel's Canon. Although for me the paragraph about it in the article seems form me kind of unprofessional and non-Wikipedia syled. --91.120.107.241 (talk) 11:14, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Should we mention the meme that came from this song?[edit]
