Gambling Chips as Scrip

I wasn't sure how to cite this, but I have found that many vendors (including almost ALL taxi drivers and restaurant wait-staff) will accept casino chips, from my parents offering them in the early 70's, up through my most recent trip in 2011.

@JasCollins: You need to find a reliable reference for it. Unfortunately, your own experience counts as original research. You can add it, but it may well be removed from Citipedia. Jonpatterns (talk) 13:46, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
