Supreme Court ruling?[edit]

I can't believe that there is nothing in here about the landmark US Supreme Court ruling or the SPS policy that provoked it. September 2007[edit]

About 25 that I'm aware of left to go. I've been adding a lot more information about these than we have on current schools. Eventually, we'll probably want to add comparable info on current schools. I'm wondering if we should plan on splitting up this page, because it's getting big and will get bigger. Also, if anyone has ideas for a more uniform treatment of schools, and of which schools deserve individual articles, I'd be glad to discuss. - Jmabel | Talk 08:02, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Frank B. Cooper[edit]

@Jmabel: Well, it only took ten years! But I just created the Frank B. Cooper article. I hadn't actually come across the book you reference. I'll look it up and see if there is additional information missing from the article. Would appreciate your thoughts on or any improvements to the article. Merge tag[edit]

Please note that Wikipedia does not do detailed spinout tables of the demographic breakdown of individual school districts. It's acceptable information in the school district's article (though still dry, uninteresting and not particularly relevant to an encyclopedia), but does not warrant its own independent article. Since this was tagged for a month with no objections on either talk page, I completed the merge.
