I've changed the date of the painting from c. 1659-60 to c. 1665 citing Bryant 2003. In Google preview I cannot see if Bryant justifies his date (I cannot see pp.71, 75)). Also using Google Preview I can see that A Corpus of Rembrandt Paintings IV: Self-Portraits (2007) edited by Ernst van de Wetering has c. 1665-1669 (see here). The web site of the Netherlands Institute for Art History (RKD) also has 1665-1669 and mentions that since the 1980s art historians have moved the date from the first to the second half of the 1660s.
