I've changed the date of the painting from c. 1659-60 to c. 1665 citing Bryant 2003. In Google preview I cannot see if Bryant justifies his date (I cannot see pp.71, 75)). Also using Google Preview I can see that A Corpus of Rembrandt Paintings IV: Self-Portraits (2007) edited by Ernst van de Wetering has c. 1665-1669 (see here). The web site of the Netherlands Institute for Art History (RKD) also has 1665-1669 and mentions that since the 1980s art historians have moved the date from the first to the second half of the 1660s. I've changed my mind and have gone with c. 1665-1669 citing the slightly more recent (2005) and more specialized publication by van de Wetering. The date is given here and is discussed here. Aa77zz (talk) 17:50, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
