Broke "Novantae and Selgovae" into separate articles. Carried the talk page banners to the the talk pages of those articles. For information within the WikiProject Scotland banner, the parameters for class/importance/auto/needs-infobox were set by a bot on June 6, 2009. Notuncurious (talk) 19:49, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

One of the 'facts' on this page is wrong. The writer says that Wardlaw Hill is at Caelaverock - which is right down on the Solway Firth - but in fact Wardlaw Hill is near Cumnock, north of Sanquhar. As for citing my sources - looking at any map of South West Scotland.

The 'fact' that the above writer maintains is wrong is in fact correct. There may be a Wardlaw Hill at Cumnock, but there is also a pre-historic hillfort by that name at Caerlaverock (grid ref NX025666). From the top on a good day one can see Carlisle in the distance. There is a Roman fort nearby(Grid ref NX025668). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jean Muir (talkcontribs) 13:52, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
