Do you really think it a good idea to illustrate this article with Petőfi? He was only half-Serb and a fervent Magyar nationalist. A Zoran photo would be better, at least he likely speaks about his Serb roots. Zello 15:13, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

But I do not have photo of Zoran. The only image that exist on Wikipedia is that of Petofi. If he was already listed here as half-Serb, then why his image cannot be here as well? PANONIAN (talk) 16:28, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I don't think he is a good representative of Hungarian Serbs because he didn't have Serb identity. He had partially Serb ancestry on his father's side but he didn't spoke the Serb language and identified himself as a Magyar poet (quite nationalist one in the 19th century way). In Hungarian wikipedia I found an image of Mihály Vitkovics, a famous 19th century Serb-Hungarian poet. I think his image would be more apropriate than Petőfi's. Are you able to upload it to the English wiki? Zello 20:47, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I do not have time at the present moment for that. You can upload and replace image if you have more time. PANONIAN (talk) 23:06, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I asked Alensha to do it, I'm not a registered user on hu-wiki so I can't download images from there as I had to realize. Zello 21:18, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Official census should always have priority. Official census is used for other nations, I do not see why it would Serbs were the exception.--ChumleeS (talk) 00:41, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
