Neutral pont of view please[edit]

Assertions to 'acclaim', 'outstanding recognition', 'brilliance' etc. etc. have been removed. The only source for them is this promotional web site: http://classicalplus.gmn.com/artists/artist.asp?id=1012&bio=true

This article needs independent verifiable references and neutral encyclopedic tone, please. Voceditenore 05:30, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you. But since you have removed 'acclaim', 'outstanding recognition', 'brilliance' etc. etc, I removed the tag. This is just a stub article and hopefully others could add on more info about him. I started this because I noticed that operatic baritone articles are not many, including notable one like him, and if they do, the contents are too short. - Jay 10:47, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Roles[edit]

The article begins by saying (rightly) that Leiferkus is known particularly for Russian and Italian roles. Then it says "He is most notable for his roles in..." and lists four operas, not one of which is Russian. Some Russian roles should be added here. One of them should be his Rangoni in Boris Godunov. I saw him sing this four or five times, and at every performance he got more applause than Boris did, which is not supposed to happen. Alostlady (talk) 22:35, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
