Opening discussion on what is considered a notable result for a young rider. Personally, for a neo pro, it is worth recording results other than the standard 123, ie. 14th in Fleche Wallone is relevant to such a young rider to show career progression, and for visitors to the article in years to come wanting to see how his career develops its important. I would suggest that certainly his two top ten stage placings in the giro should at this point in his career be considered notable. They can always be removed in future years if as expected he then performs better. ie. if he gets podiums on stage wins in 2013 the top ten placings would become redundant. 4th place on a giro stage at 23, is infinately more important and relevant than 3rd place in the Trofeo Deia.
