Fair use rationale for Image:Setanta cup logo.PNG[edit]

Image:Setanta cup logo.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:03, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Attedences[edit]

I think the article should say a little about the attendences for Setanta Cup games. Lord Cornwallis (talk) 00:01, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spin out[edit]

Is it time to spin out past seasons as daughter articles? Fasach Nua (talk) 12:44, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

After another year or three maybe. The article isn't meaty enough yet (in my opinion) to stand as a decent article on its own. Unless somebody could make substantial contributions to it in the meantime. --Setanta747 (talk) 01:01, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request for semi-protection[edit]

This page is continually being edited by one user by inserting Northern Irish flags to represent Derry City. Derry City are located in Derry, Northern Ireland. However they were kicked out of Northern Irish League during the troubles as the location of the ground was deemed unsafe for visiting Unionist fans (Derry's support is overwhelmingly Republican). After a number of years in the wilderness they were invited by the Republic of Ireland's FAI to take part in the League of Ireland which they have continued to play in to this day. One user however continues to edit them as a Northern Irish team. As this competition is a cross country comp. Derry qualify as a Republic of Ireland team. Monaco would have a Monaco flag when playing Europe - they play in France and Represent France.

The user's contributions tend to just consist of adding Northern Irish flags to the word Northern Ireland on other pages when although correct is not needed, but here it is incorrect. Probably growing up along the Shankill or Bushmills has affected his mind. Anyway, I suggest a discussion on whether a protection is needed. Xenomorph1984 (talk) 20:53, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
