Sentence Is Somewhat Confusing[edit]

It says:

"They may also be excavated using man-made structures like roofs, building foundations, concrete sidewalks, and paved roadways which can lead to damage of such structures including subsidence."

The word "using" makes it sound as if the sett is excavated "by using" man-made structures.

Would this clearer if it said:

"They may also be excavated under man-made structures like roofs, building foundations, concrete sidewalks, and paved roadways which can lead to damage of such structures including subsidence."

If so, that leads to a second problem: how can a badger excavate under a roof? Foundations, sidewalks, and roads make sense, but not roofs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.16.140.25 (talk) 19:28, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
