A couple of queries[edit]

I saw this film a couple of days ago, and am wondering about the accuracy of some of the statements here. Currently, the article states that 1) Willingdon had taken a nuclear warhead, and 2) He was demanding that the government stop all stockpiling of nuclear warheads

However, IIRC, what he wanted was that they stop the production of the specific weapon that he had stolen. Furthermore, I don't remember anyone refering to the weapon as a warhead (just by name, or by the terms "bomb" or "weapon"). All this suggests to me that what they were dealing with was a Suitcase nuke, not a warhead. Afterall, that was how it was being used, and potentially (OR, I know) it was the strategic and terroristic implications of a weapon such as that that concerned Willingdon enough to justify his actions.

Finally, I'm not too keen on the line "and is killed by an even more panicking soldier". It doesn't sound very formal, and I'm not sure how you can measure the relative levels of panic. "And is shot dead by a soldier" would read better and be less subjective, IMO. Wardog (talk) 19:44, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I watched the start of the film just now. I agree that it was a "bomb", not a "warhead". I think the professor had it in a "gladstone bag". That doesn't sound large enough for a "warhead". TC 150.101.89.147 (talk) 03:35, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
