What can be done to make this neutral?[edit]
I'm not too surprised this page reads like an advertisement. I have listed prizes and entry fees, but it is an event where people pay to compete for prizes. That's how a fishing derby works. What sort of information can be added to make it read more like an encyclopedia entry? I do not believe that I included any bias statements like, "The Seward Silver Salmon Derby is the greatest fishing derby in the whole wide world. It is so much better than the Homer Halibut Derby." (I know that's way over the top) .
I would like to improve this article but I guess i could use someone else's perspective. Crininger (talk) 03:26, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
